I can’t find the Bolus Calculator in the app.
If the Bolus Calculator is activated in your settings:
- Tap the + icon in the bottom right corner for Android or at the top of your screen for iOS. Then, enter values for ‘Blood sugar’ and ‘Carbs’ and tap ‘Calculate’.
- IMPORTANT: You have the possibility to add/remove and move fields of your entry screen with the “Customize cells” button within the mySugr Logbook.
- Tap the eye icon to show/hide cells. Please be aware that this function can have an impact on what you see in the log entry screen. If “Insulin (food)” and “Insulin (correction)” are hidden, the mySugr Bolus Calculator will also be hidden. Note: “Insulin (food)” and “Insulin (correction)” are grouped together and cannot be moved separately.
If the Bolus Calculator is not activated in your settings:
- If the Bolus Calculator is not activated, tap "More" located in the bottom right hand corner. Then select "Bolus Calculator settings" and be sure the switch is flipped to 'ON' (Switch will be green).
- When it is turned on, if you have not already done so, fill in your settings. If you need help with the settings you need for your care, please consult with your diabetes care provider.
Is the Bolus Calculator available in my country?
At the moment the Bolus Calculator is available in the following countries on both iOS and Android:

Are there any incompatible devices, which disable the Bolus Calculator?
The mySugr Bolus Calculator is not available for mySugr users with a connected NovoPen. We are working on making the mySugr Bolus Calculator compatible for smart insulin pen users in the future.
