How do I set my AGP target range?

There are two ways you'll see in the app to set your Glucose range settings.

If you have just created your account, you’ll be guided through a list of settings before you start logging:

When prompted, the app will ask you if you have a specific glucose target range. If you already have a target range for your glucose level that has been suggested by your doctor, you can set that here. You may have an ideal target range and a maximum target range.

For instance, you’d like to have your glucose numbers between 70-180, but you also don’t consider it “high” or “low” until it’s below 70 or above 190.

This will allow the app to flag numbers that are between these values for instance, 65 as “Low” (Red) or 190 as “High” (Yellow) in the example above.

You can always go back into your settings and edit your target range at any time.

If your app has already been set up and you’d like to change your AGP settings within your settings please follow these instructions:

On iOS:

  • When you open the mySugr app, tap "More" on your navigation bar at the bottom of your logbook screen
  • Scroll down the "Account & Settings” option, and tap on that
  • Then, choose the "Blood Sugar Testing" option

On Android:

  • When you open the mySugr app, tap "More" on your navigation bar at the bottom of your logbook screen
  • Scroll down the "Account & Settings” option, and tap on that
  • Then, choose the "Therapy" option at the top

Once on the correct setting screen, scroll down until you see the option to change your “Glucose range” settings. The glucose range setting will change what numbers display as the different AGP colors you see in your app.

  • The ‘Very high’ setting will display what's red. Any numbers not selected in between 'Very high' and 'Target range' will be yellow.

  • The ‘Very low’ setting will display what's dark red. Any numbers not selected in between 'Very low' and 'Target range' will be red.
