It’s just a few clicks away! Here are the instructions depending on what type of device you have:
For Android:
- Tap "More" in your navigation bar and select "Account & settings"
- Select the "Therapy" tab, and scroll down to "Pills."
- Now you can add new medications to your list by tapping the small green + at the bottom of your screen. Add the name AND the dosage of the pill (e.g. Metformin 500mg).
- You can also remove medications by tapping the small trash icon to the right of the screen and tapping "Delete"*
- When you’re done, tap the white arrow in the upper left hand corner to save your list and return to your settings.
For iOS:
- First, tap More at the lower right of your screen.
- Then, tap on Account & Settings.
- Next, tap on Insulin Therapy.
- Here, you'll find the section for "Pills"
- Now, input the name and dose of the pill (for instance, Metformin 500mg) and tap the green circle with the + sign to add another one.
- To remove a medication from the list, tap the small - in the red circle to the left of the medication name. Then tap "Delete"*
- When you are finished adding or removing your medications from the list, just tap "Done" on your iPhone keyboard, and then "Insulin Therapy" in the upper left to go back to the previous page. The pills that you've added will be saved there.
Now you can select from your list of pills when logging a new entry.
To log your newly added medication:
When you are logging a new entry, select XXXXX XXXmg and choose the number of pills you'll be taking of that medication at that time.
To log another pill, just tap the Pill line again to log your next medication. You can do this until you've logged all of your medications for that time of day.
Once you're done adding all that you need to for that record, tap Save and you're done. Easy-peasy!
*If you delete a medication or pill from your settings, it will not delete or remove the medication from your historical logbook data, it will only remove it from the list in the settings.
